This will give you availability and pricing for your desired stay.

Our most popular length of stay is 5 days and 4 nights – this will ensure you get to try every activity at the lodge and give you ample time to find relaxation in the rainforest. Our standard packages are from 2 nights/3 days to 7 nights/8 days. Custom options are available, too.

What’s Included in Your Package at Rios Lodge?

Our Rios Lodge packages allow you to sit back, relax, and know that your trip is supported from San Jose pick-up to San Jose drop-off. Not included are tips, bar specialty beverages, and additional travel services

Transportation

Your Rios Lodge stay includes direct pickup from your San José hotel with private shuttle transportation straight to the Pacuare River. Staying outside of San José? Let us know your location, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

Rafting & Hiking

At the Pacuare River, you will transfer your carryon size luggage to drybags and leave any luggage not going to the lodge in the shuttle van. It will go to our Turrialba Operations Center for secure storage and will meet you at the end of your trip. From the Pacuare River, you will either raft or hike into our lodge. Each experience is fully guided and offers a close-up view of the Costa Rican rainforest.

Choose the accommodations that best suit you and your group’s needs! From deluxe cabins to family suites to hostel-style bunk ecorooms, we have a large range of options to choose from.

Meals

Meals at Rios Lodge are a highlight of the trip! With a full menu filled with fresh ingredients, local flavor, and chef-inspired quality, every breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be unforgettable. We accommodate dietary restrictions to the best of our ability.

Guided Activities

Fill your days with adventures in the rainforest you can only find in this corner of the world. From our globally-ranked zipline course to stunning waterfall hikes and much more, our guides will show you the best of the rainforest and share interesting facts and stories along the way.

Non-guided Activities

Explore our lodge on your own time. We have dedicated yoga spots, areas for lounging and reading a book, board and card games, nearby natural swimming pools, and more for you to discover.
