Cancellation Policy

More than 30 Days: Cancellations greater than 30 days prior to confirmed reservation will be refunded 100% of monies paid.

Between 10-30 Days: Cancellations between 10 and 30 days prior to confirmed reservation can be rescheduled at no additional cost, subject to Lodge availability.

Within 10 Days: For any cancellations made within 10 days, full payment of reservation will be due to Rios Lodge. Low season and high season prices are in effect for cancellation charges.

COVID-Related Cancellations:

COVID is now a known and endemic issue. There are no refunds for COVID-related cancellations, within any time period. We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations in the event of COVID-related issues. 

Additional Refunds Information

Lodge-Related: Rios Lodge will issue refunds for reservations canceled due to reasons with the Lodge (i.e. maintenance issues, equipment failures, lodge damage, etc.)

Weather-Related: No refunds will be issued for weather-related issues, including flooding of the Rio Pacuare and cancellation of rafting trips into and out of the Lodge. We can still accommodate guests at the Lodge even in adverse weather and/or with other complicating factors.


Rios Lodge is a drug-free and smoking-free location at the lodge, on all lodge property, and on all lodge activities.
