Create your ideal, authentic Pacuare Costa Rica jungle lodge vacation with these Eco Lodge Packages. All Rios Lodge packages include lodging, meals, transportation to and from San Jose, and fully guided rafting or hiking into/out of the lodge, and all guided and unguided activities at the lodge.

Simply select our desired cabin room, the number of days you’d like to stay at the lodge, the number of guests per room and meal packages, and 4) how you’d like to access the lodge (rafting or hiking). While our 2 day, 3 day and 4 day packages are detailed out for you on the website to make it easy to see what’s all about, you can choose to stay any number of days at the lodge!

Transportation from San Jose to our Remote Eco Lodge is Included

Getting is here is part of your adventure. We are a remote rainforest ecolodge with no direct road access to the lodge, only river and trail access. Transportation to/from San Jose and fully guided rafting or hiking to and from our remote, riverside lodge is included in your package stay. Our San Jose transportation is via comfortable shuttle van to the put-in at the Pacuare River. There rafters and hikers get drybags for their luggage going to the lodge, and any luggage you wish to store gets taken to our Turrialba Operations Center. Rafters meet their expert river and naturalist guides and start their river rafting to the lodge. Hikers are shuttled to the “eco-tram” or community cable car that crosses the river, meet their expert hiking and naturalist guide, and start their hiking to the lodge.

Lodge Based Activities are Included

All lodge-based guided and unguided activities are included in your stay at Rios Lodge. Enjoy fantastic rainforest guided adventure experiences like ziplining, waterfall hikes, nature hikes, river tubing (water levels permitting), night hikes, and more. Birdwatch from your cabin porch or the riverside pavilion, practice your yoga moves overlooking the river or at our covered retreat deck by the ecohostel, soak in nearby waterfall pools, or chill in a hammock with a cold beverage of your choice. Every day brings new experiences, and you get to choose what you want to do each day.

Meals Are Included

Every lodge package includes all your meals while you are here. Our restaurant has a full menu and guests order off the menu for each meal. Included meals are:

Lunch and dinner on the first day of arrival
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on any full days at the lodge
Breakfast and lunch on the day of departure (lunch is on the river for rafters or at the takeout for hikers)

Not included in your stay are non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks from our full Bar. Additional Tapas and beverages are available for purchase during your stay and can be paid for onsite or billed to your room.
