Bend Outdoor Worx Group

Bend Outdoor Worx (BOW) is a specialized business accelerator and entrepreneurial community based in Bend, Oregon, exclusively focused on the outdoor industry. It provides growth-stage, product-based outdoor startups with hands-on mentorship, strategic resources, and a 14-week scaling program to help founders navigate challenges and increase revenue.

Founded in 2014, BOW was the first accelerator in the nation dedicated solely to the outdoor sector. It aims to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses while creating sustainable economic impact in Central Oregon. Unlike traditional accelerators, BOW pairs founders with a deep roster of seasoned industry veterans. Mentors assist with crucial aspects of the business, including legal and financial planning, digital marketing, logistics, and product development.

Since its inception, BOW has helped propel dozens of successful outdoor brands. Notable companies that have passed through its cohorts include subscription-box service Cairn and sustainable apparel brand Rustek Collective.

This Retreat is closed to the public and brings past cohort alumni, current companies, founders and mentors of the BOW universe together.
